Shelby Holt joined the Lucien, Stirling & Gray team in January of 2019. Shelby’s multifaceted and well-rounded resume gives her the perfect skill set to be Lucien, Stirling & Gray’s Client Services Specialist. She has professional experience in everything from marketing to graphic design, photography, advertising, web design, event planning, and writing. Her core passion is for people and for serving those around her, which is the thread that links all her past experiences together.
Shelby was born and raised in and around Longview, Texas. In high school, Shelby thrived in the fine arts department where she competed in choral competitions, and in her junior year made the Texas All State Choir. She then attended A&M-Commerce where she learned to play the piano and trained as a classical vocalist, earning her Bachelor of Science in Music Education. Sensing a call to Christian ministry, Shelby then earned her Master of Divinity in Theology at Baylor University’s Truett Seminary. While attending seminary, Shelby worked in the seminary’s office of Student Services where she was responsible for planning and coordinating large events, recruiting students, creative problem-solving, building relationships, and meeting the needs of any and all that walked through the seminary doors.
As our Client Services Specialist, Shelby is responsible for managing all-things client related at Lucien, Stirling & Gray; this includes our physical and digital identity established in person and through various digital platforms. She captures the essence of our voice and culture and makes it her goal to project that clearly to the world. She is also responsible for planning the legendary client appreciation events for which we are known far and wide. She makes sure our current and future clients can easily access and connect with us, and ensures that we continue the legacy of throwing killer parties.
Shelby spends her free time serving churches and non-profit organizations through her passions of graphic design and creative arts ministry. When they aren’t at home cooking together and laughing at their two cats, Shelby and her husband John enjoy exploring the Austin restaurant scene and treasure hunting at local thrift stores.
